The pursuit of a drunken driver ended when he collided with a parked vehicle on West Madison Street, Washington Police said. It happened around 1:30 Sunday morning.

Police said 24-year-old Joseph Hoback, of Washington, ran off after the crash, but officers caught and arrested him.

Hoback is charged with operating while intoxicated, criminal mischief, and multiple traffic violations.
