An officer was injured Tuesday afternoon after being dragged during a short police pursuit through Moline Acres.

According to authorities, the pursuit began shortly after 1 p.m. when a female driver stopped at a radar checkpoint on the 2400 block of Chambers and became confrontational with the officer. She reportedly refused to sign the speeding ticket the officer had written.
