Two Lumberton residents are facing drug charges after they were stopped for blocking an intersection on Friday.

Joshua Brandon Locklear, 29, and Crystal Gail Allen, 36, were stopped at the intersection of Carthage Road and Mount Olive Church Road in Lumberton about 2:30 p.m. because their vehicle was impeding traffic, according to the Robeson County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Division.

Deputies searched the vehicle after smelling marijuana smoke and found about 5 grams of cocaine, 3.5 grams of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, according to a narcotics agent.
